KFC OR Woolworths!!?

Question

hey guys well what would be the most enjoyable job out of the kfc or woolworths. I am 17 living in nsw and i am still in school. If i work at woolworths i would like to do the groceries section and just do packaging and all that like perishables.

If i work at kfc i would like to either work at the front or work at the drive through. How much would i get paid for each job and what would be the most enjoyable out of the two!!

At your age minimum wage will be paid. With that said Woolworths will be your best bet as KFC will have you working in a hotter inviroment and probably not supply you with regular hours.

I would say woolworths. at kfc, you will work like shifts and longer hours. good luck. Skietels

Woolworths is definitely the better option although KFC isn't that bad and is easier to get into. However, they may be more interested in people a bit younger than 17. Woolworths on the other hand are interested in people a bit older and is harder to get the position in the stores you're after. My friend has worked at Woolworths on Thursday nights before and said it was alright.

Although I haven't worked at any of the two, I believe the pay at Woolworths is definitely beter since the fast food industry is all labour.

I also suggest you try looking at BIG W, K Mart or Target to widen your chances of being accepted.
