KFC cruelty ??

OKay my grandmothers friend who I educaed on kentucy fried cruelty wanted to know (because she moved to candada) if the cruelty to animals is the same could you please answer this for me

I remember from one of my english classes back a few years that KFC is genetically modifying their own chickens without beaks and feathers for easier harvesting later on. Not sure how the success of that is coming along.

Yea.. I think KFC gets all their chicken from the same sources. I'm assuming that they have their own chain of factories all over the place to provide their retail stores with chicken. There maybe some slight difference in the chicken meat due to the environment its in (a hot desert city vs a cold city that often rains) but the procedures they use to treat the chickens is the same.

Since KFC is an international company all of their produce probably comes from one main supplier, so yes it would be the exact same at any KFC probably around the world.

If there is a kfc.ca website she could contact someone there and ask where they get their chickens from. Or contact PETA, I am sure they would have a lot to tell you.
