KICKBOXING QUESTIONS please help!!!?

Ok so i just started taking tai kickboxing, and i need to find out whats the name of these shoes?? they're not ringstars or the vinal kind used for other forms of martial arts.. they almost look like all black water shoes with out a sole, they slip on and the material look like it would be neoprene (wetsuit material) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME THANKS!!!!!!
