Question:

KICKER L7 and kicker zx1500. good combination?

is this a good combination or what would be a better amp for this sub?

and how far away could this be heard in like a flatland suburban area? lol

just trying to picture how powerful this sub can get.

  1. It may be a good combination as long as the impedances line up.  What voice coil configuration is your sub?  single, dual, 2 or four?  Also, do you have one sub or two?  

    There's no telling how far away it could be heard.  The better deadened your car is, the more your sound will be kept in the vehicle where it's supposed to be.  

    AND DON'T GET A CAPACITOR!!!  If you're having troubles with your electrical system, FIX IT!  A capactor is not a fix.  Think about the problem ... not enough amperage, which causes a drop in voltage.  Amplifiers cannot create wattage without voltage and amperage, and the drain causes lights to dim, etc.  So fix the problem.  Increase your amperage.  Don't add a capacitor, which is just one more thing that's going to drain on an already taxed charging system.  Get a high output alternotor!!!  Not that you'll even need it, but you may.


  2. this is a very good combo. you will also want to get a capacitor as well so you can have sufficient power
