Question:

KICKER L7 for car subwoofers?

ok i have a kicker l7 its a 12 inch and i cant really find a good amp to go with it does anyone know any amplifier that would make this thing hit its 1500 watts max and 750 watts rms some one pleeeeeease help haha ive been looking everywhere cant find a good one thanks

  1. Kicker makes the 750.1 specifically for that sub or at least the dual 4ohm version


  2. well on  Kicker's website the have a Sub - To - Amp guide and it recommends

    S12L74 - SX650.1 or ZX750.1

    S12L72 - SX900.2 or ZX850.2

  3. There are tons of amplifiers out there that will work with that sub. Literally hundreds.  Just pick pretty much any monoblock amplifier from a halfway decent company and you'll be fine.  Or get that amp from David P.  That's a good one too.

  4. I would go with the Rockford Fosgate T1000.1bd This amp is Fan Cooled and runs 500 watts at 4 ohms 750 watts at 2ohms and 1000 Watts at 1 ohm. Although the "Birth Certificate" Rates It a 667 watts at 4 ohms, 875 watts at 2 ohms and 1661 watts at 1ohm. I have one for sale if your interested.
