KIDS!!! how many is enough? 1, 2, 5 or nineteen!!!?

how many do you want/handle, and do you have any nightmarish people with tooooooo many kids that they can't look after/respect others?

Three children - we need to make sure theres enough kids out there to look after us all when we are old and grey ;)

I cannot imagine more then 3... even one is enough trouble.

Once I have to start driving a minivan because I need more then 5 seats, that's too many... I sooooo don't want to ever have to be one of those people.

I can remember a time when a child was reported missing and when we went to ask her description from her parents neither one could remember as they had 8 kids all running about the neighbourhood wild.

You have as many as you can handle, and you'll get a pretty good idea when you have your first one. I know a couple who have only one, who have such poor parenting skills, that one is plenty for them, and I know one couple who have 6, and they could have lots more...it all depends....I have 2, and that's all I can handle, especially when one is much older, you have a pretty good of what you are in for with the younger one, you already have the experience with the older one. One more, I would have to stop working, and be a home mom, that's what would like to do for a while, while they are growing up, but can't at the moment. having another one is out of the question for now...

I loved being pregnant, I love when they are babies, and you watch them grow, and you start to see their personality emerge, it's addicting, I understand how it could be addicting, and some women have pregnancies one after the other, and some families have 16 kids...(on TLC), but it's addicting, I really miss being pregnant, since I'm 40, I probably won't have any more, I find it very hard that I won't get to be pregnant again, women who don't want kids are missing something so wonderful...it's not always easy, there are times when you ask yourself why did I decide to have kids, but then you kids come and give you a big hug and say I love you mommy, nothing can match this feeling...

Not how many you can ignore and let the state pay for and support.

Two is enough because the planet is over populated.  Responsible people would only replace themselves.  However, selfish people are quite happy to have more than two with no thought for future generations not having enough land or food to eat.

i know a women with 7 shes a single parent and each child is lovely well looked after and no problem to anyone i also know  many women with just one or 2 kids who are everyones worst nightmare so theres no right amount-if you can afford them and treat them right and instil in them good values then have a dozen
