That was more WWF than MMA last night.

It was just a performance piece.

I'm a little conservative but I think it is kind of violent for general TV.

No it shouldnt because they try to dumb it down and take the things that make MMA great out of it.  MMA is violent and real and thats something that network tv wont show.

Last night was a joke, stopping fights early and making a mockery of the sport.

Real MMA fans will find it on cable and PPV with the violence and blood invluded.

Keep it off of Network and away from kids and those that are too sensitive to see the real thing... Dumbing it down like that was a disaster for what should have been MMA's coming out party.

MMA has a place on National TV, but only if true, talented MMA fighters are fighting. Kimbo Slice is not an MMA fighter. He is a brawler and a street fighter, and having him called an MMA fighter is an insult to the sport, and the talented mixed martial artists who fight in the sport.

Annie hit the nail on the head.  MMA I think should be on national TV at that timeslot 9pm (no earlier).  However, I think CBS made a really bad choice by going with Elite. Don't get me wrong, I like watching their fights, well because....I love to watch MMA fights, but they are too new on the scence and I don't like their format...and I dont' care too much for the Elite s****s (that's what Kevin Iole Yahoo Sports called them. LOL) shaking their money makers--they all look like strippers to me.

To be honest with how some of the fights can end up (broken bones, lots of blood, etc.) it shouldnt be on television. I love to watch it, but thats too much for national tv.

Yes MMA should be on T.V.  Bimbo slice should stick to You-Tube and continue to fight bums, not real professional fighters. A decent MMA Fighter would destroy him in a matter of seconds. So no keep Bimbo off T.V.

MMA should, but Kimbo Slice has NO BUSINESS being the headlining act on any MMA card right now.

Kimbo is an extremely poor representative of MMA. You want real reps you have to choose someone like Penn, GSP, Spider Silva, or the likes of them. Even the WEC event tonight would have far better represented MMA.
