  1. He's got good standup but he's one dementional. Hopefully he fights Brett Rogers next so it's a better fight. Rogers KOed Thompson in the first.

  2. I would not want to fight Kimbo-whether in the Cage or on the streets...The guy is a legit fighter, but he's not by any means top dog when it comes to the heavy weight division.  Maybe he has the potential but it's too early to tell

  3. dude is trash.

his last fight was a disgrace to the whole MMA sport.

and there arent any great heavyweights in elite xc so he is going to keep winning but they are going to be pretty wack fights for sure

he should never be in a main event until he shows that he is well rounded.

  4. He is a work in progress. The guy had a hand picked tomato can and he still could not take him out!!! He showed that he is lacking in...

    1. Ground skillz

    2. Stamina

    3. all around mma...

He has a long way to go!!! So nah he will only be an ok fighter. I think he would get destroyed by sooo many guys in the UFC!

Noguira, Lesnar, Kongo, Herring, Gonzaga, etc.. Noguira would submit him, but the rest would knock him out!

  5. Well Kimbo slice is a very good striker, and we prides himself on that, but i think that he needs to work on have a good ground game. I don't think that Kimbo is a "true" MMA competitor now...but in the future h***s yeah. I mean as soon as a gets a ground game as good as his hands he'll be a badass.

He needs to be tested look at who's  he fought i mean who are these guys, everybody talks about how kimbo is going to be the best heavyweight in the world. they need to put him against someone like tim slyvia, or heath hearing, brock lesner maybe.

  6. no

  7. The real deal as far as what? He's not going to be a champion of any merit. An EliteXC championship belt would be the equivalent of a WWE title. It holds no merrit. As an attraction, yes. He's for real. As a fighter, Yes. He's for real. As an MMA fighter?  We'll see.

  8. stayed on the streets. Kimbo reminds me of a less impressive Brock Lesnar. I think they'd both had only one fight by the time they debued in there respective organizations. As of now Kimbo is just a one-punch wonder a lot of power but if he doesn't hit you with one of those shots he's screwed. Kimbo may develope into a for real fighter but until then he needs to be kept out of the spotlight of the main event and develope his all-around game.

  9. He's not at the level he needs to be to compete against top MMA fighters.  He showed that when he fought against british guy on CBS this past weekend.  His striking is very good.  He is heavy handed.  That's all he has though.  When he was up against the cage on his back.  He was in trouble.  He couldn't do anything to get out from under him.  That showed his real weakness.  He has hardly any ground defense.  Give him a few years and jujitsu training and he could be unstoppable.

  10. we'll see when he fights a real mma fighter from the ufc.  i say match him up against The Axe Murderer or Chuck

  11. if u think so then you need to do your mma history!

  12. kimbo is  freak show nothing more he got destroyed by james thompson which most no one here had heard of until that fight ( be honest) he has yet to fight a ledit heavyweight anyone in the UFC destroys kimbo and most of the guys in king of the cage could for that matter
