is there a new coaster opening on august 6th or are they just announcing it? on their website it they have a countdown to august 6th. i think it would be pretty stupid just have a countdown to the announcement and not be able to ride it.

so my question is can you ride it after 2pm or are they just announcing it?

They will be annoucing what the new coaster will be for the 2009 season.

Yep, they'll be announcing the name of the coaster they have announced before. Here's a brief info about it by a local newspaper:

"For the parks 2009 season, a steel B&M hypercoaster will make its debut. The name of the coaster is currently unknown. As of July 22, dark red track sections were delivered to the park and set on site of the construction. The park launched a teaser program on their website the same day."
