KIRBY ISSUES! :(

Question

Hi, we're troubleshooting. our kirby vacuum is "smoking" and smells like something is burning whenever we turn it on. we've replaced the belt but that didn't work because it does this even when the belt is turned off! what could this be? is it common? we want our kirby back! ;)thank you!!!by the way, i didn't see the option at the bottom...we have a kirby sentria-peggie
