KITTEN TROUBLE HELP PLEASE!?

Question

my family and i had found a stray cat a few weeks ago in our yard.A few weeks later I found 4 babies.The mother is a great cat.She has taken wonderful care of her kittens.My daughter and I have been taking care of them all.We already have a house full of animals and just can’t afford anymore.My husband says we must take them to the humane society soon or they won’t get homes.My kid and I ,our hearts are breaking over this.If anyone can help or has a suggestion please email us at [e-mail]

i'm sorry to hear this. i know it can be hard. try checking in your area to see if there are any no-kill shelters. also check for any rescue organizations that might be able to foster them until permanent homes are found. you can try posting it on craigslist.com and seeing if anyone responds. some vets might let you post ads for them in their offices. try putting them on petfinder.com (be careful for fake people responding on their do...just do your research). other than that, ask around to people you know or post signs around your community.

Dr. Kim is right. Find a No-Kill Shelter. or maybe put a listing on craigslist.org. You can find your city and out a local ad up. Don't take them to the humane society....they are only humane to a small degree. It would definitely help to find them a home if you were able to get them fixed and shots. Good Luck!

Unfortunately, your husband is right.  The younger they are, the better change they have of being adopted.

Your other option would be to do TNR (trap/neuter/release).  ie. Get them spayed/neutered and rabies vaccinated, and simply let them go back outside.  Make sure the vet ear tips the left ear so that people know they're already spayed/neutered.
