Kimbo was the clear winner of the fight. Who here agrees ? The other guy took a swing at the ref when the bell was rang. which proves he didn't know what he was doing.

Kimbo won fair and square but he is lucky that he didn't lose due to elbows at the end of the 2nd round. He got saved by the bell.

I dont like kimbo but I expected him to win this match. He is still fighting nobodies.

Anyone who thinks Kimbo won obviously knows nothing about MMA. The fight was over after Round 2.  That isn't even debateable.  It is sad there are so many clueless people out there.  

If Kimbo got knocked out you still would claim he won.  Learn the sport and stop pretending you are a fan of it.  You are now free to jump off of the bandwagon YouTube losers!

Kimbo was not the clear winner.

1. He couldn't knock him out.

2. He couldn't match him on the ground in anyway.

3. The only way for him to win was to go after an injury that was there BEFORE THE FIGHT STARTED. That was weak and cowardly.

4. If it went to the judges Kimbo would have lost.

Kimbo was not the better fighter, THATS why Thompson slapped the ref. He got cheated out of his victory. Kimbo is just not that good against a trained fighter.

He didnt take a swing at the ref because he thought he was fighting him, he slapped the ref because the referee was corrupt, and a cheat. That fight was a work- no ifs, ands or buts.

Kimbo was 10X better on stand up. On the ground, Kimbo is too strong to get lock in on any submission and holds from Thompson. But I was surprised the ref didn't stop the match when Kimbo was getting his skull pounded against the cage at the end of round 2.

Elite XC is an embarrassment for MMA glam, The Fans of XC Elite boo all the time because no respect for the fighters or MMA. I paid for UFC fights and the money was worth it.  I Just watch the kimbo fight On Elite XC on CBS for free, and i still feel i wasted of my life for 1 hour

No, you don't call a fight because a fighter is rocked.  Often those same fighters come back to win.  Look at the Lawler/Smith fight:  Why didn't they call the fight at the end of the first round?  After all, it looked like he was about to be KO'd right?

No, they called the fight because Thompson simply would not stop fighting, and Kimbo was losing.   If the fight was scored correctly then Kimbo should have lost at the end or round 2 when he took 30 unanswered shots to the head without defending himself.

Kimbo=no ground game, no endurance

Sorry to bring you back to reality but Kimbo was not "the clear winner" of the fight. Kimbo had some good punches, but Thompson had the most take downs, and once he got good position for the ground and pound in the end of the second round kimbo was the one that HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO DO, shamrock even pointed that out. Thomson didn't swing at the ref, he slapped him out of frustration for stopping the fight early.

  Kimbo took the cheap way out when he noticed that thomsons cali-flower ear was re-injured and swelling up, and went for the ear to get the fight stopped. This was smart but cowardly, he robbed us the fans.

  you can bet that if that fight would have gone the distance kimbo would have lost, because i mean how many MMA fighters have you seen drop to the mat at the end of fight without being knocked out like that. Kimbo Was gased and had no answer to Thomson's ground and pound.

  And I'm not trying to say Thomson is the greatest MMA fighter either, because he had some of the most sloppy shots (take down attempts) I've seen.

wow, your delusional. at the end of the second round kimbo was pinned and took around 30 unanswered blows and it wasn't stopped. it was clearly RIGGED..  and Thompson hit the ref for stopping it to early... and if you don't believe me just read all the other comments that are on here and all over the web... i hope you know your now "that guy" you know the "loner"  (no offense) just constructive criticism.. open your eyes..

i agree here..kimbo rocked him..the guy was in trouble once his ear popped..u can't be fightin with a popped ear..too dangerous i think that's the main reason why they stopped it..thompson seemed to lost conscious as he punched the ref at the end..he was dazzed.....kimbo won fair  and square..gotta admit i was out my seat when kimbo was takin a beating in the 2nd.though.

kimbo cardio is lacking though he was tired pretty fast.

Yep, Kimbo is the greatest. He looked great tonight, lying on the mat getting elbowed in the head for most of the 2nd round by a bum who lost 7 of his last 9 fights. I love how you idiots buy into all the hype. He hasn't beaten anyone of any significance, and he was totally gassed after 2 rounds. He should go back to beating up bums in back yards in Miami.

Everytime kimbo hit the guy his eyes buldged out and he was staring into space, im suprised he took that many shots to the head before it was stopped. Props to him for not going down those were some heavy hits.

He took a swing at the ref. because he was upset with the ref's lame *** stoppage. It was not the best fight and Thompson is not the greatest fighter but the fight could have stilled continued. Kimbo has a long way to go and he admits it. He is not a main event fighter and I only watched the fight because it was free. The Girl's fight was good and the Lawler fight could have been great but they did not give his opponent his full 5 minutes to recover.

Those 30 unbocked elblow shots didnt hurt kimbo, thats why they didnt call it......lol he was even giving the refs the thumbs up to show he was alright as he was getting hit by thompons weak elbows

If the fight werent called then thompson wld have been done in the next 10 seconds....he was backed up into the cage needing only one or two more punches to fall to the ground...plus his ear was gushing not just bleeding blood......

if kimbo \fights like that against a decent opponent he will lose, but this was a wakeup call and he will get better
