KKK! Incident?

Question

Can he be sent to jail for this?- Story. I was walking to the supermarket to fetch some broccoli when a Kans man threw 2 eggs at me one hit my back and another hit my the back of my head. He later drove around the block called me the N word/WHITE POWER. I'm really offended. Should I call the cops? Sorry I'm a bad typer so my story is not very much in detail.

I think you should at least report the incident. There may not be a lot the police can do about that particular incident now, especially if you don't have names, license plate, etc., but they may be able to link it to other incidents (if they have been reported). You were an unfortunate victim of assault and with the statement made by the perpetrator, it was a hate crime. If possible, at least let the police know when it happened, where it happened, and give the best description you possibly can of the person and the vehicle. You may just be providing valuable information needed in other open cases.

Who knows, maybe there have already been other complaints like this, and maybe the police would already have an idea of who it may be. Hope this helps.

Yes you were assulted when he hit you with the eggs.  As for calling you an "N" word, there is no law against that, but him doing so and adding the White Power statement would make it a hate crime.

He absolutely deserves to be thrown in jail! I'm really sorry that happened to you, that piece of scum needs to be off of the street! This should qualify as an assault and a hate crime.

But to get him, you are going to need his license plate or some way to ID him (that way the cops know who to go after). Even just knowing what his car looked like (model, car color, dents in the car, and such) would help. If you have any witnesses to the incident they can help your case. You still need to make a police report though, even if you don't have any information on him. This way, if it happens to someone else who does report him, and they catch him, then you may be able to ID him as your attacker and your incident might be able to get added on.

You were the victim of a battery and with his statements it is probably a hate crime.  Get the SOB's.
