KKR coach http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Trevor-Harley-Bayliss-c94335 admits batting has been inconsistent – Cricket News Update
Satisfied with his bowlers' performance so far in the tournament, the Kolkata Knight Riders coach, Trevor Bayliss, admitted that their batting has been inconsistent and urged the batsmen to come up with their best in the second
half of the ongoing season five of Indian Premier League.
While speaking to the media reporters ahead of his side’s return-leg Indian Premier League match against an upbeat Royal Challengers Bangalore, Bayliss said that their bowling has been outstanding so far but the batsmen have not
performed upto full potential.

Bayliss however, expressed satisfaction on the overall performance of Knight Riders, who have so far won four of the total eight outings, with one washed out.
“Our bowling has been outstanding… The batsmen have been a little bit inconsistent. They have shown glimpses of what they are capable of,” said the Australian at the pre-match conference on Thursday.
“But more and more players have started to find their form. We are in a pretty good position half-way through and anyone can win from here,” he added further.
Kolkata Knight Riders, who finished among the top four last year, kick started the ongoing season five with back-to-back defeats against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rajasthan-c837 Royals, before scripting a convincing 42-run win over Royal
Challengers, followed by a five-wicket win over http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Punjab-c833 in their fifth outing of the season was followed by three morale boosting wins on the trot.
When asked about his expectations from the team in the ensuing games, Bayliss hoped his side would give its absolute best in the later stages of the tournament.
“It will be hard for me to predict as to how we do in the rest of the meet. We have not hit our best form yet… But I hope that we would be able to produce our best at the right end of the tournament,” said the Australian, who took
over as KKR coach from countryman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Davenell-Frederick-Whatmore-c52571 in February this year.
KKR will play Royal Challengers Bangalore at home on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
