Kolkata Knight Riders’ stand-in skipper, Jacques Kallis, is happy to have led his side to qualify for the main round of Champions League T20 but seems to be keen to extract improved performances from the players in order to sail smoothly in the turbulent
waters of the main tournament, starting from September 23.
The South African all-rounder argued that though the Riders have delivered well in the qualifying round and finished up as the third top team, there are still certain loopholes that need to be sorted before plunging into the 10-team high-voltage contest.
