KNITTING - Looking for a pattern for girl's halter top (7-8 years old)?

Question

I've searched the internet and have found a few halter patterns, but did not quite like the pictures. They were TOO revealing for a 7 year old. I want to knit a LONG top but have the strap come around the neck instead of over the shoulders. (that's my idea of a halter top).

Have any knitters here seen such a pattern before?
