I've been to Lourdes several times. They say Lourdes is tacky but if you go to Knock you will see what tacky really is.

It is spiritual but you get the feeling that is a " knock-off"  ( nice pun ) version of Lourdes.

I wouldn't go out of my way to go back there.

well its nice to look at the bascillica but thats all. not worth going out of youre way to see. its a tiny town full of shops that sell tacky plastic holy things like crosses, rosary beads, holy water bottles, etc. nothing else in the town. ive never felt anything spiritual when ive been there. its boring.

if you are passing by then pop in for a look, but dont go out of youre way
