Question:

KO card counting?

So I saw the movie 21 and I now want to learn to count cards, not for vegas casinos but to beat my family when we play.

I learned that the KO method is easier because there is no true count, thus making it easier to concentrate.

I know that 2-7 = +1, 8-9 = 0, and 10,J,Q,K,A = -1

And it says to bet higher when your running count is high, but what does "high" mean, is it like +15? or a high negative number like - 20.

So my question is what does a high running count consist of?

A high postive number like +15, or a bigger negative number like -15...?

Help is appreciated

  1. OK i don't know much about this but...

when you look at it in black jack you want 21, or at least 19-21 to try to beat the dealer... if it is +15 that means a bunch of low cards have been played so more high cards remain.. meaning its probably better to bet on...

i rarely play blackjack so I'm not too familiar on the rules ... but for whatever reason i keep thinking there is a rule that if u can get 5 cards in your hand without going over 21 then you win... i am not sure if this is true at all but if it is a -20 could be good because it means its mostly low cards left in the deck and then you should be able to do that... anyway that's my 2 cents.. i am not certain about any of that but hope it helps
