KOBE BRYANT (real question not hater)??

First before I ask I don't want you guys to think I'm hatin on Kobe, I like him just fine!! I think he is incredible and has more talent than most NBA could ever dream of, I even have his and Shaq's Lakers jerseys signed hanging in my house thats how much I like them!!!!!! But what is wrong with him. I mean in the Olympics he is not playing like KOBE he's playin like a regular person, like a bench player almost. Is he sick, did something happen in his family, or is he trying something new??? Seriously what happened to him, usually he'd be the star but he's not he's just kinda there?? Is he still traumatized from the Finals catastrophe???? Will he play like this this season or will he snap out of it and be his self

no, he is fine.  he's smiling and having fun and playing team basketball. he is on the best team on the planet right now.  he can't score 30 points on a team with superstars and all stars.

I think is because Team USA has so much talent, it doesn't require Kobe to be Kobe to win games. Kobe is more of a leader on this Team, and his task is to make sure everyone is focused in the game, that's why his role and J Kidd's role are so important. They are both veterans who have great concepts of how the game should be played.

But don't count Kobe to be a so so player on the team for too long because if they suddenly need a catalyst, kobe will be kobe again, taking over the game, and do everything in his power to win.

I didn't know leading the team in points with Bosh in a game against Greece makes him a regular person.. Kobe does not have to score since there are players like Wade and Anthony scoring the points.. All Kobe has to do is give the best perimeter player tough looks and he's doing the jsut well as seen from the Lithuanian game. EVERYBODY on the US team are just role players when on the squad.. They don't have to do everything.. All they have to do is play their part and thats how the US will win the gold

Kobe was and is being exposed as just a very athletic guy with no real basketball skill. Kobe would make a better track star then a basketball player. He has no got to move, Like Jordan had has fade away. Kobe relies on athletic ability and that has eroded. Kobe got exposed by a fundementaly sound player like Paul Pierce. Kobe has his moments but they are few and fare in between. They are even more rare in a clutch time situation. The olympics are proving that he is not a great scorer because he can't hit a mid-range shot. If its not some circus type shot he will not be effective unless he shoots a huge number of shots. IF KOBE GOES TO EUROPE TO PLAY HE WILL BE A POOR MANS BRUCE BOWEN!

How about the guy might be a little fatigued.  He has played full season and went to the finals and took like a week break and joined the Olympic team.  Nobody on Team USA has played has many games this season.  Everybody on team usa is rested and ready to go.  Kobe has played way to many games, lots of minutes, and injuries.  Nobody else on the team has logged that much time this season.

He is probably taking it easy because he still has the broken pinky and he needs to rest it for the 2008-2009 NBA season. Also he doesn't have to play good for team USA to win because it is filled wit all-stars.

Remember he almost had surgery in the season as well, he has had no time for that..

He has played the most amount of time in the NBA that season than any1 else...(There are no Celtics on the roster...)
