KTM or Kawasaki?

I have been riding trails since I was six so I'm not to bad at it. I have a crf150r expert. I handle the bike great but I think its time to upgrade. Would a KTM 200XC or a Kawasaki KDX 220r be to much bike for me.

  1. depending on how u handle the speed i would get an ktm if i was u i had a ktm105 and crf1050R and the ktm is much more powerfull so if i was u i would go for the ktm

  2. No, not too much bike at all. Go for the KTM200, it is one of the most fun woods bikes I've ever ridden. If KTM doesn't release the new mid sized 4 stroke next year (rumored to be around the 360cc to 380cc range) I will probably go for the 200XC myself. I wouldn't recommend the W version though. The wide ratio tranny just doesn't work well on the 200. This bike, unlike the KDX, also works great on a motocross track. If you end up running some hare scrambles many of them incorporate a motocross section so the KTM would be a big advantage over the KDX in that situation as well.

  3. KDX 220r

  4. get the KTM, they are really nice bikes for woods
