Question

According to the tag in the back this was built July 2000; purchased by us

sometime first of the year 2001 from Best Buy; over the last couple weeks

this thing has started blinking off and on (lasting a second or so - no sound loss) it started doing this gradually now it does it quite often as much as

15 times in any given period - several times during a 12 hrs period - I've also

noticed the picture color getting more orangy.  Any suggestions what can

fix this or is this TV a loss and just a matter of time before I'm looking at a

totally black screen
