KVPY examination?

I am in class XI, i wanna appear for KVPY.

What is the syllabus???

What should i study for this exam???????

i am also going to appear this year

there is no prescribed syllabus for kvpy test

the paper is put by iit proffesionals

and is mainly on mental reasoning

well some more information

you can expect some good maths questions

good  tricky but they just require a good knowledge of 10th NCERT and probably first few chapters of 11th(sets,combinatorics..).

also expect some tricky geometry questions a revision of probably an olympiad kind of book would be good.

also there will be questions from relation between roots of an equation and the coeffiients(probably  ),probability,some basic number theory ..

don't forget to take ur calculator they really helped  

for physics go through ur 11th mechanics initials and light,EC,magnetism from 10th .that should should do

chemistry and bio are probably the easiest and 10th and bit of stochiometry and all those hereditary genes... stuff should do
