KWV 1975 vintage red muscadel?

I was given this bottle as a gift, and can't find anything online as to how much this bottle actually costs. I want to know the actual cost of the muscadel, and what makes it so great.

It seems weird to me that someone gives you a gift and all you want to know is how much it is worth.

The wine is worth very little. It never was worth much, and just because it is old doesn't make it worth any more, except as a curiosity.

Muscadel will be a fortified sweet wine. In 1975 KWV was the co-operative winery responsible for exporting South African wines.

Opening it and tasting it will tell you all the rest.
