Kabbalah, what was it supposed to have been able to do?

What kind of spells was Kabbalah supposed to have?

Its not supposed to do anything but explain Jewish concepts in the mystical realm.  It is NOT a system of magic, it does NOT have spells.  All it actually is, is an alternative method the Jews have for understanding Jewish scriptures using mystical explanations.

Authentic Kabbalah was concealed for thousands of years and only in 1995 has it begun to be reintroduced to society. Authentic Kabbalah is only about attaining spiritual states (the actual expereince for your self) by studying the texts of Kabbalist who have already attained these states. It has nothing to do with spells, red strings, holy water or any of the other fabrications of false Kabbalist in the modern world. It also has nothing to do with religion. You may or may not practice any religion and still study Kabbalah.
