Kaffie looking for a strong run in OLBG Mares´ Hurdle (Listed Race)
Kaffie will be fancying her chances of winning the OLBG Mares´ Hurdle (Listed Race) at Kempton in England on Monday, November 26, 2012. She has got a very good record in this format and her confidence level will be good.
However, there are a lot of high quality performers lined up for action in the class-1 contest and things will not be easy for anyone. All of them will be fighting hard from the start until the end in order to entertain the spectators at the venue.
There has been some rain overnight, which has left the ground as soft. Due to this, some of the participants will be really upset, as they would have done a lot better under normal circumstances.
However, this is part of the game and the runners will have to cope up with such demanding conditions. The organisers will be hoping that things improve to some extent before the start of action at 14:05 GMT.
Speed will not make a big difference, as the overall distance to cover for all the participants will be 3 miles and 110 yards. The winner will be awarded a cash prize of £10,536 at the end of the day, thus everyone will be pushing extremely hard.
Kells Belle has managed to get the attention of the bookmakers because of her decent record in races over hurdles. She is a pretty decent performer and knows how to handle pressure at this level.
The six-year-old mare has got a decent winning percentage and she is carrying the winning momentum right now. This will encourage the punters to risk more bets on her compared to her rivals.
On the other hand, Kaffie will be looking to spoil the part for the favourite mare and steal the show at Kempton. She too has done really well in races over hurdles and will be aware of how to tackle pressure.
The Kim Bailey’s trainee has never dropped out of the top-three in this form of racing, which is a positive sign for her team. She has earned a couple of victories at this level and will be looking for another one under jockey, Jason Maguire, who accompanied
her last time around as well.
