BVB’s Kagawa could be heading to the Premier League this season to play for Manchester United, as his agent has admitted that he held talks with the Red Devils.
The twenty three year old midfielder has been running in circles around his opponents all season long and with him winning the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal with Borussia Dortmund this season, it seems like he has already achieved everything that he would
have wanted to with the club.
Kagawa was offered a contract renewal by the club, but he went on to turn down their offer and his current deal with the team is set to run out in 2013. As a result, the team might be more than willing to offload him to any team that is able to pay a decent
fee for him.
The player’s agent, Thomas Kroth has gone on to confirm that he had held talks with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson, in which they discussed the possibility of a transfer.
However, the representative, when talking about the outcome of the talks, or the possibility of a move simple went on to state: "The outcome is open."
Dortmund currently value the player at around twelve million pounds, which is a fee that United would be more than willing to pay, in order to capture the talented midfielder.
This past season, Kagawa went on to score seventeen goals for the team and picked up thirteen assists in the forty two matches that he played for the team, these statistics are quite remarkable for a midfielder and they just go to show how good Kagawa can
be.
On the other hand, United have had their fair share of problems this past season in their midfield. The team seemed to be out of depth and options and ended up calling http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-Scholes-c29394 to return to the team, in order to fill the void at the club.
Should Kagawa end up making the move to the team, United would have a player who is capable of playing in just about any position in the middle of the park, while occasionally dropping behind the striker to play in a number 10 position as well.
