http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shinji-Kagawa-c33364 is set to miss out on the preparations for the pre season, as his work permit is yet to arrive in Manchester.
The Red Devils are set to begin their pre season training today. However, the team is going to be going into their training sessions without Shinji Kagawa.
The newly signed midfielder hasn’t gotten hold of his work permit, which is stuck in the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Philippines-c2982.
As a result, the player has to wait until the physical document is in the club’s hand. This means that he could miss out on around twenty four to forty eight hours of practice, due to this rather peculiar set back.
However, once the document is in place, he is bound to be called into the team, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson looks to get his entire team to develop a solid chemistry before the start of the season.
The midfielder signed for the Red Devils from Borussia Dortmund on a four year contract. When he was signed last month, it was believed that he cost the team a fee of around thirteen million pounds.
That figure is bound to increase with time, considering there is a clause in the contract that sees United pay extra based on the number of performances that Kagawa makes.
The Japanese international was initially offered the number seven jersey, but he turned down that offer. He insisted that he doesn’t want to walk in the footsteps of any former players and wants to make a name for himself, based on how he plays.
Kagawa will now be wearing the number twenty six jersey for the team, as he hopes to make it the most popular club jersey in the coming season.
Alex Ferguson has almost always praised the midfielder and admitted that he had big plans for him. At this point in time, it is quite unclear as to where Kagawa will be played by the United boss. However, with the player having admitted that he wants to
play in the hole behind the striker, he could just end up filling in at that position.
Nonetheless, Kagawa is going to have to wait for his permit to arrive, before he can link up with the team and start developing an understanding with them.
