Manchester United’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shinji-Kagawa-c33364 has admitted that he can’t wait to represent the Red Devils, while hinting that he would like to play in the role behind the striker.
The twenty three year old went on to complete his move to Old Trafford recently and since then, he is yet to practice with the complete squad, given the international duties that everyone has gone on.
However, the midfielder is currently focused on getting himself in shape and is trying to perfect the role that he thinks he will be getting at the club.
When talking about just where he wants to play and how he wants to play at the club, the United player is quoted to have said: "I want to play [in the hole], I feel that's where I play my best football. I plan to work hard so I can win my place in the position"
"United are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I have been given a chance to play for them. I took a lot of things into consideration, like the fact that they've got a deep squad, their style of football and it wasn't an easy decision. But I wanted
the challenge."
Kagawa was being pursued by a host of clubs, prior to him making the move to Old Trafford. However, the player has now gone on to reveal that he almost always knew that he would end up at Old Trafford, since he feels that he is suited to play the style of
football the Red Devils play.
"There were talks with other clubs, but United were the first to make me a formal offer and the more I talked to them, the more I felt Manchester was the place for me," he added.
Kagawa has done really well in the time that he spent with Borussia Dortmund, but he will have to really prove his worth when he steps onto the pitch with Manchester United.
The games are going to get a whole lot more competitive and they would be a real test of the players quality and will help us determine just how good he really is.
