The veteran FCB goalkeeper has echoed his reasons on why http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 have failed on the international platform, and how he believes they can get better.
Former Karlsruher SC and Bayern Munich keeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Oliver-c28477 Kahn, has suggested on how he feels the Spain national side have achieved success by adapting a few traits of Germany, and why Die Mannschaft are having problems in their recent
games. He believes the national team should be more like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011.
The experienced footballer stated that the three-time World Cup winners struggle against coping with more physical teams. Die Nationalelf show frailty when they have to deal with powerful opponents. He claimed that they cannot
tackle every problem with good technical abilities.
The former Germany number one conceded that there is a reason why the national side failed to contain big players such as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937.
"You can't solve every situation with technical skills. It's no coincidence that we struggled against players like Balotelli, Ibrahimovic and Drogba," he stated.
The 43-year-old further added that Spain have German qualities such as determination, organisation and the willpower to always keep going. They have realised that all attacking sides can only be successful if they press as soon
as they have lost possession.
"Spain has German virtues like willpower, tactical discipline, and tackling strength and to never give up. [Spain] have recognised that every offensive team can only succeed if they attack right after they have lost the ball,"
he added.
The decorated star maintained that the World and European championship winners have showed that the true essence of football can further improve if you abide by these rules.
"The world and European champions have proved that the beauty of the game doesn't need to suffer from the offense not playing with these virtues," he mused.
Kahn has played 86 games for his country and is considered one of the best goalkeepers of his generation. He hung up his boots for the DFB-Eleven in 2006 after losing his starting berth to former custodian http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jens-Lehmann-c18297 and retired
from domestic football in 2008 following 429 league games with Bayern Munich.
