The retired shot-stopper believes that the new sporting director should not interfere in FC Hollywood outfit’s business on a daily basis, and that it could be harmful for the club in the ongoing campaign.

The 43-year-old feels that the technical director is being very over-enthusiastic and participating in the team practices, and also commenting on Die Bayern’s game play in the press. He has taken the role of a self-appointed mentor
to the team.
"With Sammer constantly being at team training sessions as well as his very public comments on Bayern Munich's game plans, he appears to be like a second coach," lambasted the 43-year-old.
The former Germany international said that the club official should not interfere in the tactician’s affairs, and will only harm the football club as a result. He also stressed that this will lead to another trophy less campaign.
"Meddling in the coach's department poses potential conflicts at organisational level that will quickly lead to failure on the field,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The 1996 UEFA European Championship winner claimed that there should be a hierarchy in the organisation, which should be followed according to the status quo. He wants everyone at the club to perform his respective functions and
bear fruition for the Bavarian giants.
"Club operations only work successfully if task distribution is clearly defined and respected by all parties," he finally concluded.
On the contrary, Bayern have enjoyed a good spell in the new season by beating Borussia Dortmund in the DFL-Supercup, Jahn Regensburg 4-0 and Greuther Furth 3-0 in the opening match of the league.
