Kai Broon expected to dominate EquinITy Powered By Garmin Novices´ Limited Handicap Chase
Kai Broon is expected to dominate proceedings in the EquinITy Powered By Garmin Novices´ Limited Handicap Chase at Ayr in England on Friday, April 20, 2012. The winner of the class-3 race will bag a cash prize of £6,498.
Only five runners have been attracted towards the event at Ayr, which is scheduled to start at 16:35 GMT. Their names are as follows: Kai Broon, Red Tanber, Shadrack, Vosges and Tiptoeaway. The going will be good 2 mile race, which will test the stamina
of all the horses.
Out of the above mentioned entries, Kai Broon has the best record in chase races, thus the bookmakers have given him pretty decent odds. He is in terrific form at the moment and the punters will also have a lot of confidence in his abilities.
The five-year-old gelding has taken part in a couple of chase events until now, winning one of them and finishing runner up in the other. He struggled to some extent at the start of his career, but has improved a lot with the passage of time. His record
shows the kind of form he is in at the moment and it will be hard for his rivals to match him.
In his most recent race, the Lucinda Russell’s trainee finished on top of the table by a comfortable margin. He was given the best odds back then as well and no one was able to match his speed in the end. A similar show is expected from his this time
around as well.
Kai Broon will be partnered by Campbell Gillies, who has won 53 chase races until now at a very good strike rate. He will be looking forward to another solid run at Ayr today.
On the other hand, Red Tanber will also be the one to watch out for in the race, as he is a quality runner. He has entered eight chase events until now, winning five of them. Moreover, he also managed to secure a runner up spot once.
The nine-year-old gelding will be ridden by young jockey, Lucy Alexander, who is new to the sport.
It appears that Kai Broon will walk away with a victory at Ayr, as he has the winning momentum at the moment.
