http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zimbabwe-c3045 international Knowledge Musona has completed a move to Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim from South African side Kaizer Chiefs. The striker signed a five year contract with the German club and joined for an undisclosed fee.
Hoffenheim had a mixed season last term as they finished in 11th place on the Bundesliga standings table with 43 points. The club won 11 of the 34 matches played and lost 13 encounters, drawing 10 times.
The South African side confirmed the news and claimed that the player will leave as soon as his visa arrives. Team manager Bobby Motaung stated that the contract is not a loan agreement; it is a permanent transfer to the German
side. He also wished the player for a great future ahead and hoped he would take the club’s name forward.
“Musona is going as soon as he gets his visa. It is not a loan. It is a fully signed contract of five years. We will miss him at Kaizer Chiefs. We want to wish him all the best and we give him all our blessings,” the manager was
quoted as saying in an interview.
Musona thanked his former club for all the support since he began his career and hailed the supporters for making him what he is today. The striker insisted that he would love to return to the club one day in his career. He claimed
that his time with the Glamour Boys was indeed great and he would relish the time all his life.
“I would like to thank everyone at Kaizer Chiefs for everything they have helped me with since the beginning of my pro career. I hope one day I will be back - I will never forget my time at Chiefs,” the Zimbabwean said.
