The Real Madrid play maker has stated that he would like to get more minutes on the pitch for the Spanish giants as he has been on the fringes for the past 2 seasons.
The summer of 2009 saw Real Madrid make 2 high profile signings in the names of Portuguese ace http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ricardo-c30950 Kaka.
The stories of the two players since joining the Spanish giants has been completely different, with Ronaldo achieving and rising to new heights with his spectacular performances while the Brazilian playmaker has struggled to make his mark with Los Blancos.
If not for as much as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734, Kaka also cost the Whites of Madrid plenty of money, but he has completely failed to justify the hefty price tag that was paid for him.
Injuries and form have been coming and going like weathers for the Brazilian genius, who was for once, unplayable in his position and class.
Kaka led the Italian AC Milan side to glory in the UEFA Champions League in 2006-2007 season as they defeated English powerhouse http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 in the grand finale to get some revenge. The midfielder’s performance were instrumental that season as he almost single
handedly led his side to glory.
Since moving to Madrid, Kaka has failed to make an impression on his Portuguese manager with very few minutes under his belt. The Brazilian has thankfully now shrugged off any injury problems and has vowed to improve his performances.
Kaka has stated that he would like to feature more for the Spanish outfit and get more time on the pitch; however he also said that he believed in accepting the manager’s decision in the time of crisis.
I'm happy for the win and I feel lighter," Kaka told reporters after the game. "That is down to the work [I’ve put in].
"I get to do things on the field that I would not have done before. I do what I have to do and the coach decides [who plays].
"I'd like to play more and have more minutes but I respect the decisions of the coach.
