The Brazilian international has expressed his desire to prove more useful for Los Blancos in the future as he is currently pleased with his recent contributions for the Spanish giants.
Real Madrid’s Kaka has voiced his pleasure at being one of the scorers during his side’s latest victory in the UEFA Champions League. The midfielder stated that he is hopeful in regard of his future at the Spanish capital as he wants to score more goals
for the Whites.
The former AC Milan player has shown immense improvement as compared to the past few seasons as he has started to feature more regularly for the current Spanish champions.
He recently played a massively instrumental role during Madrid’s Champions League group stage encounter against Ajax. Kaka started the match as the team’s captain and did justice to the skipper’s armband as he proved quite influential in the attacking midfield.
The match that took place at the Santiago Bernabeu saw the Spanish giants overcome the Dutch champions with a final score of 4-1. The Brazilian international was among the scorers as he found the back of the net after a beautifully struck shot went past
the keeper.
Although Real Madrid had already qualified for the last 16 of the European tournament, they did not play the game against Ajax without their usual sense of competition.
Kaka’s delight has come especially due to the fact that he has managed to improve a lot. The player could not make a positive impact over the Bernabeu during his initial years and it appears as though he has finally found his lost form.
“This season I am playing a little less, but I do what I have to do and wait for my opportunities. I always respect the decisions of the coach. Against Ajax he picked me, and I think I took advantage of the opportunity. This was an important goal for me,
and I hope I've still got goals left to help Real Madrid. It was an important win and a special night,” quoted the 30-year-old.
“I've scored goals recently with my left, and I think this one was a good goal. In the next round we have to be ready for whoever we draw".
Kaka was signed by Madrid in the summer of 2009.
