Despite the difference between the two teams, Kalou believes Chelsea can go on and prove their worth over the remainder of the season and overcome their rivals, as they go on and claim the third spot in the league table.
When talking about his team and whether it would be possible for them to claim the third spot, Kalou is quoted to have said: "We have to forget about the Fulham game and continue to work hard because it’s still possible to get the third place.”
It is rather weird for Kalou to be making these claims, given the fact that his team have one of the most hectic schedules going into the final stretch of the season.
Chelsea have to play both Arsenal and Newcastle United before the end of the season and many expect the Blues to drop points in these matches.
However, most of the players at Stamford Bridge feel that their team can still go on and do the impossible, as they move into the third spot in the league before the season comes to an end.
