Kalvin from AJs Playhouse (channel 93.3) San Diego

Question

Does anyone know what happened to Kalvin on AJs playhouse. One minute hes on and the next hes not. And 933 have deleted everything about him on their web page. Almost as if he didn't exist. Anyone got any info on the subject.

I thought i was the only one who was wondering. I've been trying to find out anything on the topic and nothing has turned up. I thought it was a little shady.  I don't think it is anything good because the playhouse would have wished i'm luck on any plans or new job opportunities came about.  And they probably would have plugged it on the show as well.  Let me know if anyone finds anything new on the subject.

i'm originally from SD, but living in Las Vegas now and noticed that 93.3 had taken any pictures related to Kalvin, and his lounge page off their site last week. looking on the internet, all the radio industry websites are just reporting that he "left the building"- with no further detail. he is still on AJ, Hula, etc.'s Myspace pages though.

"There's been a late-breaking morning show development at R&R Award-nominated KHTS (Channel 933)/San Diego, where Kalvin Reed, the co-host of "AJ's Playhouse," has left the building. As we speak, PD Jimmy Steele (also a proud R&R '08 nominee) is in Denver at Morning Show Boot Camp and has begun the search for a new player to plug in next to AJ, Geena the Latina, producer Hula and street guy Sonic."

i haven't been able to listen to 93.3 since i moved. did they talk about Kalvin leaving on the air at all? i wish i knew the real reason though???

I have been really annoyed by this same thing. Why can't they just adress the issue. Why so secretive? Anyway, he was the cool young guy to balance out geeky older AJ and Hula! I miss Kalvin on the show a lot! He came right when I was starting to get annoyed with Jesse. Anyway, I dont know the answer but Geena's blog might give us a hint. In it she talks about anger management issues. See

She usually doesnt' write about stuff like this with so much detail. I bet it has something to do with it. My best guess is that its directed at Kalvin or at AJ or both. I doubt Hula has the balls to fly off the handle. (Love Hula though!)

I was on my way to work yesterday and realized Kalvin was either on vacation still or left for a new job. When I saw he was erased off of almost everything, I knew it had to be something not so good. I wish they would just tell us what happened. Honestly, even though he wasn't the "star" of the Morning show, he still was my favorite and I haven't even listened to the show since they came back anyways. I had turned to it to see if Kalvin was back and they were talking about getting a new addition. Kalvin gave the show a lil flava! lol Well....at least we know he ain't dead.
