Kaman or Camby?

Question

Who should start at the PF? And who will be better?

Kaman-265 pds, 16 pts, 12 rebs, 2 blks

Camby- 235 pds, 9 pts, 13 rebs, 3 blks

Camby is getting old, and Kaman is better in offense. But Camby is better at blocking shots.

Kanman is a natural center, so Camby will have to shift to PF. I still think both of them will make a good combo, and wth Davis passing the ball, it should help both of them.

camby can shoot jumpshots and is fast enough to guard many power forwards and is also the better defender so he should be the PF. kaman is your natural big-body kinda guy fit for playing center. he can also score on many centers in the nba. kaman doesnt need to defend so much since most centers in the league arent ment to score but the two can switch matchups at any time in the game and can both stop smaller guards. and i think kaman will be better because he has been a clipper his whole career and has been playing under coach mike dunleavy and he is also playing the same position he has been playing the past couple of years so he will play better then camby

Camby is a better shooter and Kaman is a natural Center. Kaman will probably sell more jerseys but Camby is better over all IMO.

Well one stat you dont have up there is games played if Kaman played the 79 games Camby played then we can talk so Camby got the durability and experience and he knows how to use his height and size so I will go with Camby but things can change if Kaman plays good in the Olympics and go in very strong during training camp

thats a tough one. i'd have to say camby because hes more solidified at this point. but kaman has a bright future for sure.

Kaman will play center...he's got at least an inch on Camby.  Camby will be PF and will be a blocking machine.  Kaman will score more.  Camby is somewhat fragile...he's been healthy the last year or so, but he's known for injuries.  I expect the front line of those two will be a good one.

just put Camby at center. so what he's getting old. when you a big man they stay in the league 4 eva. big bodies are hard to come by that's why. Robert Parish played like a hundred years lol. look how long Shawn Bradley stayed in the league n Camby is way better than he ever was! Camby still getting his boards n blocks. put him at center if you want both of them on the floor at the same time.

i would have to say camby. kaman is a good center but is not athletic to cover the guys who play PF. kamans slow but a decent low post defender, where he should function better than having to cover more athleitc guys. camby is a good shotblocker but IS NOT by any means a legit low post defender. camby is athletic and would matchup better with the athletic PFs such as amare rather than kaman. also kaman is a true 7 footer while camby is 6'10  6'11 ish. so with taht being said camby should be the starting powerfoward.

who will be better?

well seeing how the clippers will likely run their offense through BD first, kaman seems like a solid second option. hes a solid low post scorer, unlike camby, but jumpshot wise hes probably just as poor as camby. both guys should be presences defensively, you have 2 great shotblockers on the defensive side which is intimidating for offenses. so in all with cambys age and the fact taht kaman could become better i believe kaman will have the better year statisically.

I'd go with Camby. The Boston Celtics just showed how important defense is in this league. Plus, I like his intensity.
