Kamloops in June?

Question

We are staying in a small lodge, just outside Kamloops in June, Can anyone tell me what there is to do in the area, plus some really good golf cousres?

There will be lots of outdoor summer activities.  It is a tourist location so you will find some organized events.  It is a beautiful spot, and has great summer weather, and the  people love visitors. If you go, make sure you take in one of the boat tours - it will be awesome.  June can be quite hot so bring sunscreen and a hat.
