Kamui Kobayashi’s life off the track
Japanese driver Kamui Kobayashi will be the spotlight holder at his home grand prix at Suzuka this weekend. However, before being bombarded with predictable pre-race questions, the Official Formula 1 website took an interview from the young driver about
his personal life rather than the upcoming race. If you want to find out what Kamui believes and likes besides racing, you are reading the right article.
Kamui follows a single plan once he finds the right plan for himself and does not think much about plotting a plan B. The Japanese driver waits for nothing else but his holidays by the end of the year and is always delighted to see his car every Thursday.
He is always eager to find out the updates and upgrades the team did to his car and has a look at the new stuff other teams bring to the circuit. The Sauber driver loves spending time alone so much that his dream date is himself without any phone or internet.
The young driver loves the movie Shawshank Redemption and that was the only movie that made him cry. The movie stars Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. The movie involves them both locked in a prison for a year, this movie has been considered as the best film
ever made according to Kamui. He has watched it five times. Kobayashi is scared of the year 2012 as the Maya calendar states that something dramatic will happen on our planet that year. The Japanese driver does not like reading books but loves going to the
beach as he thinks that it is the best way to relax. Kamui was asked to name five things he hates and he answered Carrots, cold and dirt. That is just three things but anyway.
Dyeing hair is like a sport in Japan and Kamui has to dye his hair every now and then as Japanese people have really dark black hair and they feel they have to dye their hair lighter. The Japanese driver has four tattoos but they are just to make him look
good. They do not mean anything but he likes the designs. Kamui loves to try new things. The first CD Kobayashi bought was a Japanese music CD.
His teachers always thought that he was a very sporty kid and he does not like studying much. Kobayashi never had a hero during his childhood and does not feel that he has been involved in any sort of guilty pleasures. However, he loves shopping which can
actually be mentioned as a guilty pleasure. Strangely, Kobayashi misses the bathroom when he is on the road for some reason. Kamui’s worst buy is alcohol as he orders five to six bottles of champagne whenever he goes to a restaurant and buys many useless clothes.

The Japanese driver has stopped drinking coffee and his ideal Sunday morning is sitting under the sun before going for a picnic. The first car he drove was a Toyota when he was 18 years-old and bought it even before his license. The most embarrassing moment
of his life was when he crashed out of the Canadian grand prix. It is quite understandable as it was a silly mistake and anyone would have been embarrassed in that situation.
However, the most interesting thing about Kobayashi’s life is that he loves cooking. He can cook anything even without any experience. He looks at the recipes online and makes whatever anyone asks him to with ease. He has cooked for a number of people in
the motorhome.
Kamui Kobayashi got really furious in Hungary this year when he arrived at the airport at 11pm and saw that his flight had been cancelled. He was on his way to Tokyo and this made him go berserk as he already had a tight schedule and this cancellation wasted
his valuable time.
The Japanese driver has been driving pretty well this season and will stay in Sauber for next year as well.
