Kanbay chennai?

hello all,

i got a job in kanbay .my training would be in pune and posting in chennai.i heard kanbay is in nungambakkam chennai.i would like to know what kind of work is done there in chenna and where is the location..also at the same time do specifgy the cost of living in chennai and rents of flat inc hennai..some additional inputs about the location would be of great help to me..thank you

Unlike others branches of kanbay, in chennai, Kanbay is located in the heart of the city. nungambakkam is the main commercial district of chennai.

When u compare Pune and Chennai, Chennai definitely sucks. Chennai no doubt has good infrastructural facilties like good transport etc but its a very conservative place. Ex: All the roads will almost be deserted after 9:30.

If u are a person who likes night life, pubs etc, U will be utterly disappointed.

The positive points of chennai.....

1)very good transport facilites to every nook and corner

2) Good food (If u like south indian dishes)

3)Comaparitively, cost of living is cheap when compared to other major metros

4) Cheap and very good clothes

Negatives.......

1)It doesnt have a professional envirornment like pune. Pune is full of students and IT professionals .So the exposure is great . Chennai is just catching up.

2) The most conservative metro in India

     No night life. (go to bed by 10:pm)

3) Summers would be like a microwave owen. Even though the temperatures are not too high, The humidity levels touch 80%

4) Kanbay has sprawling campusses in Hyderabad and pune. but In chennai, Kanbay is nothing but a tall office building. offcourse , it doesnt make too much of a difference ,but the atmospere of working in a huge campus is quite soothing when compared to working in a serious workplace.
