Kane and Big Show retain their WWE Tag Team Championships at Extreme Rules
The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Extreme Rules was held on May 1 at Tampa, Florida. Big Show and Kane were scheduled for the WWE Tag Team Championship match against Wade Barrett and Ezekiel Jackson. The highly anticipated match-up saw Kane and the Big Show come out on top as winners and undisputed title holders.
The members of the Corre, WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett and Ezekiel Jackson came out into the arena. The other members, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater, surrounded the ring as the reigning WWE Tag Team Champions, Big Show and Kane made their way to the ring.
Big Show and Wade Barrett were the first to face each other head to head. The giant Big Show started off with his big chops on Barrett’s chest. Big Show tagged his partner Kane, as the Big Red Monster hit Barrett with a drop kick to the face.
Wade Barrett sneaked out from the ring but was rolled back by Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel who were standing outside the ring. As Barrett came in, Kane dropped him on the mat with a banging fist. The Big Red Monster slammed Barrett in the ring corner but Ezekiel Jackson distracted Kane. Barrett took the opportunity to kick Kane out of the ring and the two members standing outside attacked.
The World’s largest athlete, Big Show, hopped into the ring to retaliate. Kane also got on the ring and Ezekiel Jackson took hold of him. Jackson tapped Barrett’s hand for a tag as the Big Red Monster was beaten by the Corre. Kane recovered as Jackson came back and they shared some fists and kicks with each other.
Kane and Jackson were on the mat as they exchanged tags with their partners and Wade Barrett and Big Show came in the ring once again. Big Show was beaten up by Barrett and bumped out when Jackson pulled the rope and the giant fell out of the ring. Slater and Gabriel started off on the Big Show and then rolled him back inside the ring. Big Show managed to recover and got an opportunity to give a choke slam to Barrett.
After slamming Barrett to the mat, Big Show pinned him for a victory. Kane and Big show were delighted after defending their WWE Tag Team Championships and celebrated inside the ring. Gabriel and Slater were not left unharmed and the title holders gave choke slams to the remaining two members of the Corre.
