The Defence Department is set to begin culling hundreds of kangaroos at a Canberra site, Australia. 300? or 400? I don't know.

I think it's Australia's decision and have no objection. How do you think?

  1. I know there are Elephant cullings which REALLY disturb me!

Other than culling, Im not sure what you can do to control population size once its already its already gotten out of hand.

    However....

If its for seen that a species in a certain niche has no natural predators (at the top of the food chain) and there is nothing else to help keep population in check other than disease...I would suggest a program which sterilizes the male gender (I would assume it would be more economic to sterilize the male).

I'm sure sterilizing is considerably more expensive and labor-intensive than say.... flying over-head and slaughtering the masses.

Maybe theyre using the meat to feed the hungry!

At least it can be somewhat justifiable.
