Kangaroos???

Question

So I was watching the Rescuers Down Under and there was a kangaroo there in the forest. And I though, now that's not right. Is it? Where do kangaroos live. Australia I know, but what does their environment look like? My friends and I just couldn't figure it out.

Kangaroos usually live in the grasslands and the deserts of alberta.

and these kind don't live in the forest it lives in grasslands and deserts.

Kangaroos live in Australia, yes. I think they mostly live in deserts, but they can easily travel - like most animals!

There are different species of Kangeroos and wallabies.  They live in all sorts of different habitats.  There is even a tree kangeroo!!

Did you know the wombat has an upside-down pouch. Marsupials are cool.

There are several species of kangaroo which live in a variety of habitats, from forest to cleared farming land.

Well, there are knagaroos living in the forest that's part of my parent's backyard and in the nearby winery land so I'd say that's right. But if the movie showed it in a rainforest then that's wrong.

They are generally found in temperate to dry areas, including temperate forests.

But it depends on what species. There are multiple species of kangaroo and I'm sure they are adapted to different habitats.
