  1. There is no set number. It depends on the program you are involved in. But K-State's average hour load is 14 hours. So often times, you can walk in to college as a "sophomore".  Now there is a few things that might hold you back right away from "skipping freshman year"

Sometimes you have to take freshman classes, that were not offered in high school and can't be doubled up in one year. Like if you go into business, it may be like classes that build on management skills - much like math classes do. (The example is that you can't take Pre-Calc and Calc at the same time since they build off each other. Sorry, if that doesn't make sense.) So be prepared, for the possibility that you may not be able to jump into the level of a sophomore right away. Make sense?

So sometimes you may not be counted as a "sophomore" in the K-

State's eyes until you com plate these beginner courses.

But I have included two links. One is the B.S. page for business and one for tution. (Tution posted on the website is for an average (14 hr.) year but remember tution is really priced per credit hour ($198 per hr.))

Hope I cleared some stuff up. If not, feel free to get ahold of me.
