Kansas city dive bbq?

Question

Looking for a quality low down dirty bbq joint in kansas city. nothing chain, just good stuff. Any suggestions?

Jones BBQ, best dive BBQ in KC.  They are at 609 North 6th St.  KCK 66101.  The owners are amazing and so is the BBQ.

ok, heres a awsome place in KCK, on Kaw drive Called Mr. Epps bbq. There a little hole in the wall dive, & so good, but heres the kicker, tehre only open when the yfell like it, so call  them first to make sure there open.

There in the same parkinglot as the gorcery store called Wild Woodys, Happy Foods.

when there open you can smell the food in the smokers outside, it makes your mouth water too.

Big T's and L.C's both on Blue Pkwy.

there is also a Big T's on Blue Ridge (near 87th)

Gotta be Arthur Bryant's.  But you have to go to the ORIGINAL location in KCMO!!!  They're the best, they've started expanding a bit, but they are totally what BBQ is about!!!

Rosedale is not a favorite of mine, but most Kansas Citians love it. It doesn't get much dirtier than this place.

Big T's is a good local joint, too. They serve their bbq with a lot of soul food favorites like collard greens.

9409 Blue Ridge in KCMO

Danny Edwards (used to be Lil Jake's Eat It and Beat It) is at a new, nicer location, but they still serve it up old style.

2900 Southwest Blvd. in KCK

Or try the Oklahoma Joe's location in a KCK gas station.
