Kapil Dev welcomes resumption of India-Pakistan bilateral series – Cricket News Update
Former Indian skipper Kapil Dev on Tuesday welcomed the resumption of bilateral cricketing ties between sub-continental neighbours India and Pakistan, saying it is a good development.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India and the Pakistan Cricket Board have agreed to stage a short limited-overs series between the two cricket teams, at the former’s backyard, later this year. This will be the first bilateral series between the nemeses in more than five years.
As per the itinerary released by the hosting board last week, the two teams will play two T20 Internationals  and three One Day Internationals between December 25 and January 6.
The short series is sandwiched between two legs of England’s tour of India. In the first leg of the itinerary, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 in the second week of January to play the five ODI series against the hosts, starting on January 11.

During a media interaction in the Taj city on Tuesday, at the  166th Annual Sports day of the prestigious St. Peter's College, the legendary Indian cricketer said that the itinerary will help improve relations between the South Asian neighbours.
