Kaplan SAT vocab books?

I found a book of Edgar Allan Poe stories, it was made by a company called Kaplan. It has SAT vocab words highlighted and defined in the text. Has anyone used it and does it help?

  1. I don't know.  I did pretty well on SATs, and the best ways I found to up my verbal score was to buy a dictionary (like they sell for spelling bee folks) and read that thing each time you sit on the toilet or ride in the car.  Also, test, test, test.  Practice makes perfect.  It's not so much what you know, as it is how quickly and efficiently you can answer while stressed.
