Sahin was named as the player of the year in the German Bundesliga, and while there were many expectations attached to him during his signing for Los Blancos, he was unable to live up to them and now Mourinho wants the former Bundesliga star to leave the
club.
Sahin was brought in so he could eventually replace http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Xabi-Alonso-c37045 in the midfield role. However, he was unable to impress throughout this time at the Spanish capital; therefore, he is now being offloaded by Real Madrid.
Even though many believe that he will leave the club soon, Aitor Karanka recently spoke about how desperately he wants to stay at the Spanish capital.
Karanka said that Sahin has been filling in as a left-back for Real Madrid during the training sessions.
While speaking about Nuri Sahin, Karanka told the press:
"The important thing for Nuri at this point is to play. He has been playing wing-back and is doing well. He is happy to play in any position.”
"We only have Fabio Coentrao on the left side at the moment. He is playing very well, but Nuri is also ready to step up.”
"The important thing is that there are no injuries. Those who play during pre-season are helping out the team."
Even though Sahin is trying hard to remain at the Bernabeu, Mourinho has already stated that he is unwanted by him and therefore he might be leaving for greener pastures. The most favourite location for the Turkish star is considered to be the North London
