Karanka refuses to discuss Mourinho’s future

The Spaniard has emphasized that he is completely unaware regarding the future plans of the Special One, stressing that most of the reports are based on rumours.
Real Madrid’s assistant coach, Aitor Karanka, has asked the media to stop focusing on rumours as he believes that the future of his club’s head coach, Jose Mourinho, is not a concerning matter at the moment.
According to the retired footballer, only Mourinho is aware of when he will part ways with the Santiago Bernabeu outfit. He went on to insist that the former Porto boss is having a good time at the Spanish capital and will not leave in the summer.
Karanka then lashed out at the recent reports suggesting that the veteran trainer will leave the club at the end of the current season. He stressed that everyone at Madrid is tired of saying the same thing again and again, claiming that there is no truth
attached to the speculation.
Considering Real’s dip in form this season, a number of media sources had suggested that Mourinho will not be staying with Los Merengues after the current season’s campaign.
The Spanish champions are currently 4th in the Spanish Primera Division’s league standings. In addition, they are 11 points behind http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 who are the league leaders at the moment. Experts have opined that the league campaign is as good as over.
Consequently speculation regarding the Special One’s departure is ripe.
However, Karanka has openly rubbished such claims and has maintained that only the manager himself is aware of his future plans.
"The only person who knows what will happen is the coach and we are fed up of saying it, we don't give any consideration to the rumours," the 39-year-old told reporters at a press conference.
"I have spent two and a half years with Mourinho and if we paid attention to all of these rumours it would be a disservice to him.
"He shows his strength on the pitch and in the office, which is the way it should be," he added.
Jose Mourinho joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2009. So far he has managed to lead them to one La Liga and one Copa del Rey title.
