The Real Madrid assistant coach has stated that manager Jose Mourinho did not inform Casillas about the reason for which he was dropped from the starting line-up
Great controversy surrounded Real Madrid’s manager Jose Mourinho as he took one of the boldest decisions of his managerial career.
The Portuguese tactician opted to drop club captain Iker Casillas from the starting line-up of Los Blancos for their last Premiera Division clash.
Real Madrid were to travel to La Rosaleda in order to face 4th placed Malaga and the encounter was seen as equally important for the two Spanish sides.

Jose Mourinho sparked the situation by solidifying his stance and stated that his decision was totally a tactical one and he thought that Adan was better suited to the game than Iker Casillas.

Real Madrid’s assistant coach, Karanka believes that the manager’s decision should not be questioned and he has even not told Casillas about the reason for him being dropped.
"Mourinho doesn't have to justify why a player plays or not. But he knows which players need explanations more than others," the 39-year-old was quoted as saying by Marca.
