Jose Mourinho however surprised everyone with his bold decision and gave second choice goal-keeper Antonio Adan the nod, ahead of club legend http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Iker-Casillas-c16815.
Adan did not put up a promising show and was at fault on almost all of the goals that the capital side conceded.
Jose Mourinho sparked the situation by solidifying his stance and stated that his decision was totally a tactical one and he thought that Adan was better suited to the game than Iker Casillas.

Real Madrid’s assistant coach, Karanka believes that the manager’s decision should not be questioned and he has even not told Casillas about the reason for him being dropped.
"Mourinho doesn't have to justify why a player plays or not. But he knows which players need explanations more than others," the 39-year-old was quoted as saying by Marca.

"Iker wasn't given any explanation about why he was dropped. As a coach, you pick whoever you think is going to do the best http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684."
"A while ago he told me I would have to face the media regularly. This is because he doesn't have a good relationship with journalists."
Jose Mourinho’s men are placed third in La Liga’s standings as to date.
